Website speed optimisation
A slow site loses visitors before they read a word and ranks below faster competitors. We measure on real phones, fix the causes rather than the symptoms, and put monitoring in place so the numbers stay green after we leave.
What you get
- Measurement first: lab runs on a throttled phone profile and field data from real visitors where it exists
- Fixes for the largest paint, interaction delay and layout shift: images, fonts, scripts, third parties, caching, server response
- A CDN configured with the right cache keys and lifetimes, and the origin locked down behind it
- Real-user vitals collected on your own site, so you see what visitors see, not only what a tool says
- A short report with before and after numbers, dated, that you can show to whoever asked
How website speed and Core Web Vitals runs with us
Measure
Throttled lab runs on the pages that matter, field data if available, and a list of the causes ranked by impact.
Fix
Images, fonts, script loading, third parties, caching and server response, shipped through your pipeline with a before and after number for each.
Keep
Real-user monitoring and a budget in the build so a future change cannot quietly make the site slow again.
Good fit if
- PageSpeed or Search Console says your pages are slow and nobody can tell you why
- Your site is fast on your laptop and slow on your customers' phones
- You want the site to stay fast after the next redesign
What we need from you
- Access to the code and hosting
- Analytics or Search Console access for the pages that matter most
- A yes to removing scripts nobody can explain
Questions we get about website speed and Core Web Vitals
Is it just the score, or does it change anything?
The score is a summary. What changes is how fast a visitor on a phone sees and can use the page, which shows up in bounce rate and in search rankings. We report both the score and the real-user numbers.
Do you work on WordPress sites too?
For measurement and the common fixes, yes. If the theme and plugins are the cause, we say so and quote the migration instead of selling you a caching plugin.
How fast is fast enough?
Google's thresholds are the floor: largest paint under 2.5 seconds, interaction under 200 milliseconds, layout shift under 0.1, for most visitors. Our own sites sit well under those.
